Successful Counter-Protest At The Red Cow

On a freezing cold night about fifty anti-racists tuned up to a counter-protest in at Moran’s Red Cow hotel. It was called by le Cheile and United Against Racism.

They stood between a centre where refugees are housed and a bunch of fascists. The fascists had called a Dublin Southside mobilisation but their turnout was tiny and they were vastly outnumbered.

The hotel houses many children who could have been frightened by fascist screams of “get them out”.

However, the anti-racists stood in front of the hotel and made sure the fascist abuse could not be heard.
