Walkout Wednesday 29th November
Across the world, people are sickened by Israel’s attack on hospitals and murder of Palestinians. But the Israeli Defence Forces have no intention of stopping.
There may be a ‘pause’ to allow the release of hostages and prisoners held in Israeli jails. But the bombing and murder will continue until Gaza has been flattened and its people driven out.
This is genocide, occurring in real time on our television screens.
We need to do something because the US, the EU, and our government are supporting Israel.
The United Nations has declared Wednesday 29thNovember as an International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.
To show real solidarity on that day we should stage walk-outs from workplaces, universities, and schools. You can do this at lunch time or during working hours or school or college hours.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Talk to your workmates or fellow students and agree on a time for your protest.
- Publicise it via e mail, WhatsApp or any other method.
- Get hold of Palestinian flags and placards and stage your walkout.
- Record the activity and upload it on social media.
