Dublin, Ireland Will Protest in Solidarity with Minneapolis Tonight 5:30

FUCK ICE. Boycott the White House. Don't Bend the Knee to Trump. Respect the General Strike's Picket.

Irish politicians are preparing to flock over to the White House for the yearly opportunity to offer up their loyalty to the American regime. Trump’s move to turn ICE into the enforcers of his regime, has seen them kill three dozen people in 2025 and in 2026 murder Renée Nicole Good, and Saturday Alex Pretti was killed in broad daylight on the streets of Minneapolis, where the first general strike since 1946 is taking place. ICE agents have enacted with immeasurable cruelty the mass-deportations, which only days ago saw a 5 year old arrested and used as bait to capture and disappear his father.

The questions are simple for us here:
Will Irish political leaders cross the picket, spend our national day with a Zionist, imperialist aggressor, and submit themselves to another year of subservience to their regime?

Will they continue not passing the Occupied Territories Bill because Trump's corporations have more say over Irish law than the Irish people do?

Will Irish politicians refuse to stop the US military from Shannon Airport as they export their “freedom” at the end of Hellfire missiles and rifles across the globe in order to desperately maintain their position in their struggle against their imperialist rivals?

People Before Profit do not believe the people of this country want our leaders to legitimise and soft-pedal to the Americans and further endorse their brutality, their funding of apartheid, and their assault on ordinary people across the U.S.

Ireland’s tradition is an anti-imperialist one, and failing to stand up now and denounce the atrocities being committed by Trump day in and day out means our total complicity and a strategic role in maintaining the power of the U.S. empire.

Tell your representatives in the Dáil exactly how you feel about the St Patrick’s Day visit, how you feel about our relationship to the U.S. empire, and stand up for our anti-imperialist tradition.

Join us at 5:30 pm, Monday the 26th, the Spire, Dublin.

Richard Boyd Barrett TD will be speaking.
