People Before Profit are running candidates in each of the three European constituencies in Ireland. Bríd Smith TD in Dublin, Cian Prendiville in South, and Brian O’Boyle in the Midlands-North-West.
The ongoing genocide in Gaza, and the EU’s shameful support of the apartheid state of Israel, clearly demonstrate the nature of the EU and the need for strong socialist voices to combat it.
People Before Profit do not receive the type of donations the bigger parties get from the businesses and wealthy interests they represent.
Instead, we rely on small donations from members and supporters.
Unfortunately, elections are very costly to contest and in addition to the European elections, we also have Local Elections and even the possibility of a General Election before the end of the year.
While we know times are hard for many with the ongoing cost of living crisis, we are asking our members and supporters to please, if at all possible, to donate what they can to People Before Profit’s upcoming European Election campaign.
Anything you can give will go towards helping to promote our candidates and their message opposing the neoliberal policies, increasing militarism, and disastrous Fortress Europe policies which have turned the Mediterranean into a graveyard for refugees.
