Gerry Carroll Calls on Sinn Féin to release details of deal

Responding to reports that a possible ‘compromise’ deal was on the table between SF and the DUP, Gerry Carroll MLA has called on the details of this deal to be released:

“Michelle O’Neill declared yesterday that she had reached ‘compromise’ with the DUP, which was then rejected. If this is the case, then she should publicly state what was in this deal.”

“Was marriage equality included in this compromise? Was a stand-alone Irish language act included? What else was in the deal? We must now hear the full facts about this ‘compromise’. People should not be kept in the dark on the talks anymore.”
