Protest 5pm Tuesday 12th December Outside Her Residence in the Phoenix Park
The US ambassador has invited the TDs from Dáil Éireann to a sessional reception in her residence in Phoenix Park.
Ironically, the reception is supposed to ‘celebrate the joys of the season’.
It is a sick example of utmost hypocrisy.
People Before Profit is urging all TDs to boycott the event because of the US role in supporting Israel’s campaign of mass murder in Gaza.
Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said that he wanted only three things from the US. These were ‘munitions, munitions, munitions’.
Israel could not wage its campaign of genocide without the US. They give it cover at the UN by vetoing resolutions calling for a ceasefire.
It is entirely inappropriate for public representatives to attend a US reception when the country is supporting genocide.
There will be a protest outside the US Ambassador’s residence at 5pm on Tuesday 12th December. You can get a 99 bus from Parkgate Street stop 7078 to the residence.
