SUPPORT OUR HEALTHCARE WORKERS. GIVE THEM PPE
This and every Thursday throughout the crisis there will be an 8pm show of support for our front line workers. We encourage all of you to get out and join it if it’s happening in your area or to lead by example if it’s not.
Talk to your neighbours over the garden wall, let them know this is happening and at 8pm stand at your front door and clap for our essential workers.
Maybe you will be the first on your street, maybe hundreds will join in – either way, show your support in whatever way you can.
While this show of social solidarity is amazing, it should also come with some demands.
These workers are putting themselves, their health, and the health of their families in danger in order to keep the rest of us safe.
Often they will do their jobs for low pay and without adequate personal protective equipment (PPE).
So please, get out on your street and make noise on Thursday and encourage your neighbours to do the same.
And this week let’s also demand “PPE for essential workers now!”Please print this image to put it in your window if you have a printer, or else make your own.
