Stop The Pollution Of Dublin Bay- Tuesday December 1st at 8pm

It’s been twenty years since the European Union’s Water Framework Directive guaranteed clear waters by 2015. But citizens are still having to endure living with unsafe water, noxious smells and persistent sewage spills into Dublin Bay.

The blame effectively lies at the door of Ringsend Water Treatment Plant and their deliberate spilling of untreated sewage into Dublin Bay utilizing the surrounding waters as an overfull facility to pump excess sewage into. The plant currently treats about 40 per cent of Ireland’s public wastewater.

Come to the meeting on CLEAN UP THE RINGSEND SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT with Richard Boyd Barrett TD and Tobias Guning, on Tuesday December 1st at 8pm.
