Last night Russian missiles killed eleven people in Ukraine. Meanwhile in Palestine, nine people were killed in an Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin early yesterday.
In both cases, an occupying army is inflicting death and injury on the civilian population.
But there is a difference. Ukraine is being supplied with tanks, Patriot missiles, and advanced military equipment by the Western powers.
Yet these same Western powers are supplying Israel, the invader, with military equipment and regard it as their ally.
For the past year, our media has bombarded us with propaganda to back up NATO. We are told it is a force for good, that it defends the ‘democratic world’ against the authoritarians.
We are even told that the main reason for its proxy war against Russia is that it wants to uphold the rights of nations to self-determination. The cold-blooded murder of Palestinian civilians tells a different story.
