Gino Kenny TD to question NPHET and Minister Donnelly in Dáil Covid Committee session today
People Before Profit TD Gino Kenny will question NPHET and Minister Stephen Donnelly TD at today’s Covid Committee session.
The session with NPHET will take place at 12.30pm and the session with the Health Minister will take place at 3pm.
The TD will question NPHET on their advice to government on the reopening of schools. He will question the Minister on the differences of testing between the public and private health system; and the deal with the private hospitals for temporary increased capacity during the pandemic.
He will also raise the issue of nursing homes with the Minister and the need for a full public enquiry.
