Get Organised Against Racism – Stand Together

Racism and fascist violence is on the rise in Ireland. Hiding from this fact will not make it disappear but allow it to grow stronger.

Across the island, there have been dozens of racist, anti-immigrant demonstrations in the streets and attacks on both buildings and people – but this can be stopped.

Fascist organisations like the National Party, Irish Freedom Party, Ireland First and Síol na hÉireann are trying to redirect people’s real anger over the housing, cost of living and public services crisis towards marginalised people in Ireland, especially asylum seekers, people of colour, and queer people.

We reject this scapegoating and say direct your anger at those who have actually caused this crisis: successive Fianna Fáil-Fine Gael governments, greedy landlords, employers and vulture funds that have ravaged the country and working-class people of all backgrounds for decades.

We say: stand together with your fellow students and reject the rhetoric and fear of the far-right and fascism.

Join us and help to build for the Le Chéile Stand Together demonstration on Saturday the 2nd of March  at 1.30pm at the Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square, Dublin 1.
