With reports that a deal at Stormont could be imminent, Gerry Carroll has warned that any return of Arlene Foster as First Minister would be a ‘betrayal’:
“It was the actions of Arlene Foster around RHI that caused this crisis, and we should not forget that.”
“Should she return to her position as First Minister, this will be rightly seen as a betrayal by those who said there would be no return to the status quo.”
