Bec Fahy

Bec has been a community development worker and activist for nearly 30 years and has worked with vulnerable and marginalised communities in Ireland and Wales. Working and volunteering in a variety of projects including family resource centres, Traveller projects, youth cafes and mental health initiatives.

A passionate human rights activist, Bec has spent much of her life campaigning on equality, social justice and human rights issues, including the Repeal campaign.

Bec is a founder member in the Kerry Homeless and Housing Coalition and an active member in the Traveller Homes Matter campaign.

Living in Kerry for the past 21 years, Bec has been involved in community arts, mental health and youth initiatives and believes that we need to build a more just and equal society that supports its most vulnerable members and eradicates poverty and racism.
