Eoghan Murphy Rips Off Taxpayers

The Minister responsible for the housing crisis, Eoghan Murphy, spent €36,000 of taxpayers’ money on Saint Patrick’s Day trips to Asia and South America.

Included in this was €2,604 for a limousine hire in Tokyo. Another €1114 was spent on car hire in Korea. Murphy and his two advisors ran up a bill for €5,134 by staying at five-star hotels.

It never struck the posh boy Minister so use public transport – even though his party talks hypocritically about climate change and advocates more carbon taxes.

There is something completely amoral about this type of spending- when hundreds are attending soup kitchens in Dublin because they have no homes.

We need to use the local and Euro elections to drive out Fine Gael and their partners in Fianna Fail.
