Big Spenders: How Fine Gael Wastes Our Money

Tens of thousands languish on the housing waiting lists. More wait in pain hoping for a hospital operation. But Fine Gael’s excuse is always the same – we don’t have the money.

But they are big spenders when it comes to looking after their friends in business. Here are their recent ‘overspends’:

*National Children’s Hospital – will cost more than €2 billion, plus €500,000 for a whitewash report from PWC to get Simon Harris off the hooks.

* Rural Broadband – originally estimated at €500m but will cost €3 billion over 25 years. The main supplier of the physical infrastructure is Denis O Brien’s Actavo.

*Apple Tax- €7 already spent on a legal case for why Ireland should NOT take back taxes worth €13 billion. That includes €3 million to William Fry – and another €595,400 to their favourite consultancy company PWC.

Use the local and Euro election to get rid of them -and their partners in Fianna Fail.
