Protest To Be Held Tomorrow Over Closure Of National Council For The Blind Resource Centre In Dún Laoghaire

Tomorrow a protest will take place at the offices of the National Council for the Blind over the closure of the service in Dún Laoghaire at 1230pm.

The protest is organised by members of the blind community.

The NCBI centre is threatened with closure due to “lack of service users”.

The demonstration will be held at the NCBI Resource Centre at 1230pm tomorrow (09/11/2018) 19 Clarence Street, Dún Laoghaire.

Richard Boyd Barrett TD and People Before Profit Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Cllrs Melisa Halpin, Dave O’Keeffe and Hugh Lewis will join the protestors to show their support for the NCBI and the many people who need to avail of the service.
